About me
I have devoted 17 years to the field of education, with 13 of those years spent serving in Hallsville ISD. Throughout my career, I have held a variety of roles, including substitute teacher, paraprofessional, and classroom teacher in both Kindergarten and First Grade. Currently, I serve as an Instructional Coach and Reading Interventionist where I not only support students in their literacy journey, but also empower teachers with strategies to enhance their instruction. My greatest passion lies in phonics instruction where I find joy in helping students build strong foundational reading skills and collaborate with teachers on best practices. I take pride in supporting and encouraging my colleagues in their professional growth. Nothing excites me more than seeing both students and educators grow in confidence and success!
