Thursday August 7, 2025 9:25am - 10:10am CDT
Welcome to the classroom of the future—where creativity meets technology with Google Sites as the ultimate tool for teachers and students alike. Imagine a digital space where learning and web creation is as simple as clicking a button.
In this session, we'll dive into how Google Sites can transform the classroom experience:
  • For teachers: Create dynamic, interactive websites for lesson plans, resources, and assignments that can be accessed from anywhere, at any time. Say goodbye to the clutter of physical handouts and keep your materials organized in one sleek and easy to navigate site. Google Sites lets you build an engaging, organized hub without needing coding skills.
  • For students: Encourage collaboration and creativity by empowering your students to create their own sites. Let them design portfolios, showcase projects, and build interactive presentations that reflect their learning journey. It’s a powerful way for students to gain digital literacy while exploring new ways to express their ideas.
In this session, we will cover:
  • Easy setup: How Google Sites allows you to build and publish in minutes.
  • Collaboration: Real-time editing for students and teachers, making teamwork a breeze.
  • Customization: Creating personalized and interactive sites for specific classroom needs.
  • Digital portfolios: Helping students showcase their work in a professional online format.
