Future Forward: Teaching Beyond Tomorrow

In this session, we’ll look at easy and effective ways to get students more interested in learning and more involved in class activities. You’ll leave with practical ideas to help your students stay focused, participate more, and enjoy learning.

Habits we can teach students to help them analyze answer choices as they work through questions over things they read. We'll use some hands-on and critical thinking skills to help find what's right and wrong about answer choices for a variety of question stems.

This session will examine the causes and commonalities of miscommunication issues which arise when working with students who have autism and/or ADHD. We will analyze causes of associated behaviors and where these disorders overlap and can share strategies vs. where they need to be supported in different ways.

In this professional development session, educators will learn how to effectively use student data to form purposeful small groups and tailor instruction to meet individual needs. Participants will explore best practices for analyzing assessment results, identifying instructional needs, and organizing flexible grouping strategies. Additionally, the session will provide concrete examples of small group lesson flow, including the use of engaging resources, structured materials, and targeted instructional strategies. Educators will leave with practical tools and ready-to-use templates to implement data-driven small group instruction in their classrooms immediately.
